It is possible that there are people who found a lost dog in the street, safe-keep it and then post a notice online in a lost-and-found section of the classifieds ads or in one of the pet forums.

That’s a lot of sites to visit! What if one of them found your dog and you miss it!
If you spend an hour a day (or 4 minutes per site) scanning through the websites, it would have taken 4 days of your time in a month. How much would 4 days of work worth to you?
