It has been raining cats and dogs these few days and there were floods everywhere. It is worrisome for these dogs who are lost in the open and without food.
Warrior was found in Pierce Reservoir and send to SPCA. The owner has collected it from SPCA. It has been a week of worry for the owner and suffering for Warrior. Happily they are united.
As part of our service, we email SPCA with the photos so that they will lookout for our clients’ missing pets. It is one of the number of cases where the pets ended up with SPCA and the owners were contactable.

Cookie the Silky Terrier was found after missing for 3 days. She said that it was found quite a distance away. Unbelievable but miracles happen.
God bless her heart cos she was willing to do what it takes to find her pet. She post it on Internet, stick fliers, search physically, offer a big reward, engage my service and even join the Pet Alert program. She was willing to top up the Google fees if it exceeds the budget.
One prospect wonders if anyone will see his lost pet online. He don’t have the belief and so he never engage my service. Even if the chance is 3 out of 100, will the owner give it a try? If a pet owner values his pet, money is never an issue.
One of my clients is even willing to go to the High Court and spend thousands of dollars to fight for custody of her dog. To others it is just an animal and they think the money could be well spent on the poor. But to the owner, it’s a family member and there’s no price tag to her ‘child’. It’s priceless.
For $50, I could spend half a day of work. Even the owner do it, it could take at least 2 days. For another $50 for PPC, it don’t even cover my PPC fees. It is really hard work.
The true love of the owner is manifested in how much the owner is willing to go to recover his pet.

I got an email from Priscilla today. Here’s what she said:
Hi Sam
Just want to update you that Rummie had returned home last night !!! ;p
What happened was that I put in another post in Stomp – under Singapore Seen – Lost & Found Pets, and the lady who adopted Rum saw the post and contacted me. She does surf Stomp regularly, but not under the Talkback section…
It seems that Rum went through 3-4 owners before he was adopted by Elaine – all within the span of 4 days. He was lost on Feb 5th, and Elaine had him since Feb 9th. All the previous “owners” didn’t want him ‘cos he was too noisy. By the time he reach Elaine, he was quite a confused and depressed boy. Btw, Elaine stays in Jurong West (whereas Rum was lost in Tampines)!!!..
I’m just so thankful that he’s home safe and sound.
THANK YOU for all the help and encouragement
God bless
priscilla

I received this email from the Cherish, the owner of Teddy Bear on 7th May:
“Dear Sam,
Words can’t express how much your service has helped me in finding my dog, Teddy Bear. Just this morning, I received a call from a lady who told me that she has found my dog!
She has been caring for him for a few days and going around trying to find out where he comes from when she came across one of your ads.
Teddy Bear is finally found after going missing for a few days! He is now once again back at home with me and my family.
Thank you so much for founding a service like this. To all dog owners out there, do use this service.
Its really very helpful in finding your pet back. Do not give up hope. “

We were at AVA first thing this morning, and KC is alright!! Please help us update/remove the ads.
Thanks so much for your help again. You have given us a great deal of hope and support to continue,
and that means a lot to us. Thanks again.

Pepsi is a big Golden Retriever. It was lost on 24th April. The client came to me yesterday night. I send an email to my contact at SPCA to lookout for Pepsi on at 2am this morning. At lunch hour SPCA said they have identified Pepsi. 3 days later, Pepsi is happily reunited with the family. Had a good bath just now.
Now I have upgraded my service. When my client engage me, I will notify the SPCA. I send them a biodata of the pet with photos. In this case, SPCA has been a great help in this recovery.

Nacho the Yorkie was lost and dearly missed by the 2year old daughter on Sat. A school boy saw the pet and kept it for a few days until Tuesday. They saw the poster and called the pet owner.
I cannot emphasis enough that small pets don’t travel too far and the number 1 factor to recovery is the flyer in the neighbourhood.
It’s harder for bigger dogs cos they can travel further.
